A great resource to accompany the teaching of instructions. This A4 work mat or poster explains all the essential features of instructions and can be used either at the beginning, during or at the end of the taught unit. As a poster it could be displayed as a reference for the children to use throughout the taught unit. Furthermore it could be used as a great revision aid for year 6 pupils.

 

As a work mat the children could have a laminated copy of the resource on the table and could use it for guidance or as a check list to ensure their piece of writing contains all of the key features.
